The obvious advantage to this style of staircase is that witches are unable to negotiate the ascent and will, thus, leave you safely at home in your comfortable bedrooms at night completely alive, warm and cozy and un-flayed.  A very important home security consideration in these modern times during which the Black Wiccan Arts have made such a strong return.

Do not let the so-called good witches from groups such as ‘Glinda’s Gals’ or ‘The Nightingale and Nightshade Society’ sway your better judgement when it comes to matters of familial safety.  Upon close examination, the claims made by these organizations, some of whose membership do, in fact, act in good faith, that all witches are kind-hearted witches simply do not ring true.  While they may bemoan the fact that there are ‘many hurtful stereotypes’, do not lose sight of the fact that many so-called stereotypes are often rooted in truth.

You owe it to your family and to yourself to always err on the side of caution.
